I had the opportunity to attend my first Cleveland Indians’ game on Sunday. The sad thing is, I’ve lived in Northeast Ohio for more than 12 years and had yet to see a Tribe game (it was also my first MLB game).
In fact, my first visit to Progressive Field was for a PRSA event at the Terrace Club in April.
My friend’s dad received four tickets and a parking pass for Sunday’s game against the Marlins. So they invited the K-couple to join them (fun fact: in just over a year, they’ll also be a K-couple). And here is where I stop you. You can fill maybe a teaspoon with the entirety of my sports knowledge. I hear that our seats were pretty good, they were in the View Box.

The people who attend baseball games are interesting, so along with some sporting action I enjoyed a lot of people watching. If only I were more thorough at applying sunscreen….
What else should I do to experience Cleveland?
I really like your blog and your writing 🙂
Hahaha is it completely your first baseball game?
Not completely my first baseball game. I’ve been to a few minor league games, but not for several years.

I love baseball. I could spend every day watching games. I’m so glad you got to go and hopefully you’ll become more interested in the sport. Yes! Sunscreen is a must 🙂
I am making an effort to learn more about the major sports here in my backyard (baseball, football and basketball). I’ve been to more baseball games than any other sport, which is good because pretty soon I’ll be working a couple of blocks from the stadium so I should probably understand the games that I’ll be able to hear from my office window! As far as sunscreen goes, I need to remember 1. Apply evenly 2. Reapply often and I’ll be good!
