Vitality Vox Box Review

It’s time for another VoxBox review…

Influenster sent me a another box of goodies with a health/exercise theme to review and share with you all. If you want to see what was in my box, you can watch my unboxing video. (If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, don’t be disappointed if my voice doesn’t sound the way that you imagined it would!)

Let me start with the star of this box and my new favorite product…

SoftLips Cube

I got the vanilla scent/flavor of this cool lip care product. I love vanilla so they hit the nail on the head with mine. I don’t typically wear lipstick or lipgloss, I’m usually happy with a little lip balm. The smell was amazing and it really did keep my lips soft (hence the name!). I like to cube shape because it make it easier to find in my purse and the ball-shaped lip balm made it easy to apply.

Pure Leaf Tea

I got the lemon flavor of the Pure Leaf Tea and I’m sad to say it had far to many carbs (41g) for me to enjoy at just any moment. I actually used it to treat a low blood sugar on two occasions! It was cool and refreshing and if you like sweet, this is a good option. I did a little research and they make an unsweetened iced tea as well as diet lemon and diet peach options that would be options for a carb/sugar-free bottle of tea.

Elizabeth Arden, Flawless Future serum

This was a cute little product sample, it had pearls in it and I love pearls. I’m not sure that I’m in need of serums, but the Elizabeth Arden was supposed to even skin tone. It felt nice going on, but I’m not sure I’ve noticed any significant changes in my skin.

Tampax Sport Tampons

You know the tampons that I was incredibly unimpressed with in my last Vox Box? Yeah, they sent me another box of them. Clearly they want to win me over, but Tampax Sport just won’t do it. If you really want to read my review of these, check out the second-to-last paragraph of this post.

My Vitality Vox Box also contained Bikini Ready Energy Gummies and First Degree Advanced Burn Cream, neither of which I used. I thankfully haven’t really burned myself since my ironing accident in February of last year, but if I get burned again I’ll try it out… although I hope to never need it. I can’t really comment on the gummies, they are supposed to promote weight loss and 11g of carbs in 5 drops. I don’t need or want to lose weight and I don’t want to waste a unit of insulin on something I don’t need. However, it was recommended to share tips on having a #BikiniReadyLifestyle so I figured I would share a couple of my habits that help me feel confident in a bikini: exercise/be active, be smart about carbohydrates and stay hydrated. (Coincidentally these are pretty good tips for overall health + diabetes management!)

I was sent these complimentary products from Influenster for review purposes… the things were free, but the opinions are mine and are honest.
