Small Towns

The answer to the question, “Where are you from?” for me is “all over Ohio.” But during my teenage and adult years, I’ve lived in larger areas… until now.

My husband and I are currently living in a small town. It’s not like there are only 150 people in town, but it only has one grocery store.

It’s weird for me. because apparently everybody knows everybody else and they know that I don’t. It’s like an instinct or something.

My in-laws took me to an annual festival at one of the churches in town and I’m pretty sure the whole town was there. I felt like I was being stared at, Brad thought I was just being paranoid.

I have also just learned that it’s completely impossible to stop at the grocery store without running into someone who knows me (that doesn’t exactly mean that I know them though).

One major perk about living in a small town though is that we can walk to the grocery store!

And as soon as I’m used to this, we’ll probably move.
